Your own DOT helmet, with either a shield or glasses.
A long sleeve shirt or jacket (dress according to the weather)
Long pants. No leggings or sweat pants! Blue jean material or stronger no holes in your pants.
Sturdy over the ankle shoes/boots (not canvas)
Full fingered gloves
Eye protection if your helmet doesn’t have a shield
Ability to balance and ride on a bicycle
Must be age 14 or older (14-year-olds won’t be able to get their license until their 15th birthday)
No, we provide the motorcycle for the Basic Rider Course.
Like the basic rider course, the Experienced Riders Course will allow you to obtain a license waiver and insurance discount upon successful completion. It helps promote safety and offers a great skills refresher for those returning to the sport or have completed the Basic Riders Course.
No. You only need to know how to balance and ride a bicycle.
No, you must successfully complete all testing and riding requirements.

The Ep1/11 online training curriculum.
Training motorcycles (you may bring your personal motorcycle but it must be registered, insured, and inspected by one of our instructors)
We prefer you bring your own equipment, but we have helmets, gloves, and long sleeve jackets.
Yes! You just need to have a parent/guardian with you on the first day of class to sign the waiver. Participation will not be allowed without parental consent. Anyone under the age of 16 that desires their motorcycle license will be required to take the written rules of the road test at the DMV before a license is issued.
